Unit 4 Integral Health QA

1) Describe your experience. Did you find it beneficial? Difficult? Why or why not? Would you recommend this to others? Why or why not?
I truly enjoyed the practice and found it very therapeutic considering my life has been pure chaos lately. I am still in the process of finding a schedule with the new baby as well as getting through this 'seizure scare' we had with her. The good news is that she has an EEG to be done, but the Doctor is confidant she just has a bad case of reflux.
I would most definitely recommend this to other because it is extremely healthy to remember to slow down and self reflect. If we are not at peace internally, we are bound to be physically unsteady and anxious which can cause disarray in any point of our daily activities.

2)What is the concept of "mental workout"? What does the research indicate are the proven benefits of a mental workout? How can you implement mental workouts to foster your psychological health?

The concept of the mental workout is to self reflect and to learn how to balance inner peace and self flourishing. This gives us the tools to work at shall we say, full psycho-spiritual capacity.

  1. Hello Shelly……and let me start by saying that I am hoping and praying for the best for your baby. I am glad you had a good experience with the exercise, I on the other hand will need to have another go at it. I need to complete the mental workouts on a regular basis to achieve, as you so intelligently put, my full psycho-spiritual capacity. :)
